Controlling Porcine Epidemic Diarrhoea
A new highly virulent strain of Porcine Epidemic Diarrhoea (PEDv) that causes significant pig losses has affected the USA, Canada, South America and Asia. A slightly different form of PEDv is known to be present and spreading in continental Europe. These pose a significant risk to pig herds in England.
